SHAKEDOWN SHAKE OUT
Meet at Absolute Bikes for a shakeout ride led by a soon-to-emerge local celebrity.
Less than 20 miles of rollers around Salida - includes birdwatching!
Final stop to see the behind-the-scenes action of everyone’s bike bag favorite, Oveja Negra.
7:00 PM-ish
After-ride or no-ride drinks at High Side. All riders get $1 off their drinks and 10% off their final bill (show that race plate). It’s cool - we’ll still have you in bed by 10:00 pm. Or will we?
SATURDAY, September 19

Salida 76 Mile Banquet Start
Ready yourself for a gravel odyssey (or oddity).
Slight course change this year due to construction.
Neutral for the first couple of miles; once you see the start flag and mat, let ‘er rip.

Salida 76K Lite Start
Smooth operators unite.
Same as above. Don’t pass the police car unless you’re channeling Shaft.
9:30 am-11:00 am
Tykes on Bikes presented by Ark Valley Preschool
Obstacle Course: Designed for children ages 3–8 to build balance, coordination, and confidence.
Prizes + Family Entertainment: Fun giveaways for our little riders, + face paint!
Costumes Welcome: Bikes and creativity go hand in hand!

Lunch is served. Free Wilding Beer or N/A will go well with that.

As soon as we have results, we’ll do the awards, but if you get back by noon, you should be able to run back to your pad and freshen up for your adoring fans. Check with the Shift HQ for award timing before you leave the venue.

The final timing mat is at the end of Solstice trail. Take it easy on the way down. Get back to the park and cross the line so we know you made it back to our lovin’ arms.

More Wilding bevies, some pizza, and trail tales.
Stop by the Salida Mtn Trails booth and tell them how much you love what they built. And donate.
